You can also buy train tickets online. Peru Rail and Inca Rail are two companies that sell train tickets. Go to their websites and pick out the tickets you want to buy. There are two train stations, Poroy and Ollantaytambo. Poroy is about 25 minutes from Cusco (1 hour 30 from Cusco). Depending on whether or not you have a ticket, the train will leave from one of these two stations. The easiest way to get to the train station is to take a taxi. You can call a taxi from your hotel (most hotels work with reliable taxi companies) or use any cab app.

Bus tickets

Once you get to Aguas Calientes, you can either walk up to the Inca citadel (about 1 hour and 30 minutes) or take a bus (25 min). You can buy tickets online at www.consettur.com. You can also just go to the town of Aguas Calientes and buy them there. Our advice is simple: buy it online.
