- At 6:30 am, a driver will pick you up and take you to Poroy Train Station. (Train departs at 07:30)

Itinerary for the Vistadome Train’s Machu Picchu excursion
Day 1 includes a guided tour and a ride on the Vistadome train to Machu Picchu Pueblo (Aguas Calientes).
At 6:30 am, a representative will pick you up from your Cusco hotel to begin this wonderful 1-Day Tour to Machu Picchu with Vistadome Train. Then, we drive a private vehicle to the Poroy-Cusco Train Station in order to board the train at 7:35 in the morning.
The Vistadome Train does not depart from Poroy during the wet season, which runs from January through April. In order to get you to the Ollantaytambo Train Station in time for the 7:05 am Vistadome Train, we pick you up at your Cusco hotel at 4:45 in the morning. We will take you up from your hotel in Ollantaytambo between 6:40 and 6:50 in the morning.
Machu Picchu Tours Vistadome Train
At 10:52 am, our tour guide will greet you at the railway station. You will have a short window of time to grab a sandwich or lunch before riding the shuttle bus for 25 minutes to the Machu Picchu Citadel (2,400mt/7,874ft). When you arrive at the Machu Picchu ruin’s main entrance, (bring your original passport). Following the old and isolated steps of the Incas, our guide will lead you to the ideal “viewpoint” from where you may capture the iconic or panoramic image of Machu Picchu and enjoy the sights.
You will get a 2-hour guided tour of the architecture and history of Machu Picchu, also known as “The Old Sacred Mountain,” following the photo session. Your guide will show you all the key locations on your customized tour. You will view many various types of architecture, as well as the Temple of the Sun, Temple of the Condor, Temple of Three Windows, Sun Dial, Quarry, the House of the Inca, urban districts, agricultural terraces, and more. After that, you will have some free time for taking pictures.
It is advised to use the bus ticket to Machu Picchu Pueblo (Aguas Caliente) at least an hour prior to the train’s departure at 18:10.
To go back to Machu Picchu Pueblo (Aguas Calientes), take the Vistadome Train at 18:10 in the evening, which will take you to Poroy. From there, take a private vehicle to Cusco, where you will check into your hotel at about 10 p.m.

Important Information for Machu Picchu Tour 1 Day with Vistadome Train:
In order to give visitors enough time to fully explore Machu Picchu, the Vistadome train departs from Poroy Train Station (near Cusco) at 7:35 am, and the later return Vistadome train departs from Aguas Calientes at 18:10 pm, arriving back in Cusco at around 10:00 pm.
Please specify in your reservation if you would prefer the earlier return at 3:20 pm, arriving in Cusco at roughly 7.40 pm.
Only the Vistadome Train travels between Ollantaytambo and Machu Picchu Pueblo (Aguas Calientes) and back to Ollantaytambo Train Station from January through April. At 16:22, you’ll leave Machu Pueblo (Aguas Calientes).
