TERMS & CONDITIONS
All the people that makes this reservation should read and carefully understand the terms and conditions that follow. Your contract is with Magical Peru Expeditions, registered in Cusco, Peru. The following conditions will apply to your reservation and are part of your contract. You accept on behalf of yourself and all those named in the reservation including minors and persons with a disability to be bound by these terms and conditions.
A contract will exist when we accept your reservation and issue our confirmation invoice or email.
The contract and all matters arising from it will be governed by Peruvian law and will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Peruvian courts. All correspondence will be sent to the main passenger of the reservation unless otherwise indicated. You must be over 18 years old to book a trip with Magical Peru Expeditions,
All persons named in the reservation order are committed to the contract with Magical Peru Expeditions. The person who signs the contract is considered representative of all the people whose names are in the reservation order and verifies that all these people are fully aware and accept the terms and conditions of Magical Peru Expeditions.
We know life can throw unexpected things at all of us and can disrupt even the best laid plans. For that reason we have developed a very flexible transfer policy for all of our travelers to take advantage of.
-No penalties or fees, No blackout dates, -No expiration on funds…ever
We’ve tried to make this as simple as possible for you…just give us at least 30 days’ notice and you can change your trip for free or we’ll transfer your reservation to any other trip in the future.
Don’t worry if you can’t commit to another trip date right now. When you’re able to make time for another experience just let us know what trip you want to use
will be no cancellation once you confirm your travel date with our sales agents.
Airline or railroad tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable and no name changes are not allowed.
The functionality of seat selection in the travel agency systems is restricted by the airlines. We will try, but we cannot guarantee, contiguous seats, some airlines only allow the selection of seats at the time of check-in.
MAKE A RESERVATION AND PAYMENT OF YOUR DEPOSIT:
-All packages. They require a deposit of at least 50% of the total price.
-For the routes of the Inca Trail to Machupicchu.
- $ 200 per person only the Inca Trail.
- $ 285 per person for the Inca Trail + Wayna Picchu.
THE DEPOSIT IS NON-REFUNDABLE, ONCE YOU MADE THE RESERVATION, ASSUME THAT THE CLIENT HAS READ THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
The reservation is officially confirmed once Magical Peru Expeditions, receives the client’s deposit. Upon receipt of the deposit, a binding contract is established between the client and the company.
A non-refundable deposit is required (as mentioned above) along with your personal information (full name, passport number, sex, nationality and date of birth) at the time of booking.
NOTE: THE CUSTOMER WILL ASSUME ALL TRANSACTION RATES BY PAYPAL.
Payment of the Final Balance:
We ask you to pay your final balance at least 48 hours before the tours and the departure of the walk (please advise if you have any delay on arrival to Cusco).
You can pay your balance in cash in Peruvian soles or in US dollars.
You can also pay the balance of all our tours called DAY TOURS (by Pay Pal +7%) from your home before leaving for Peru.
NOTE: THE CUSTOMER WILL ASSUME ALL TRANSACTION RATES.
Changes made by the client:
The client who signs the reservation order is the only person who can make changes to the Tour / Walk / Trip / Rent / Service. An additional payment will be required according to the reservation tour to make any changes. Every effort will be made to make the requested changes, but these are not guaranteed and there may be additional costs related to these changes.
PLEASE THI IS VERY IMPORTANT NOTE THAT, FOR THE INCA TRAIL, PERMITS ARE NON-TRANSFERABLE, NON-REFUNDABLE, AND DATES CAN’T BE CHANGED.
Changes and Cancellations by Magical Peru Expeditions:
We always make our best efforts to carry out the tours and services according to the original schedules listed in the reservation order. However, upon entering into this agreement with Magical Peru Expeditions, the client accepts that the necessary changes may need to be made to a Tour / walk / trip / rental / service, due to prevailing conditions
Magical Peru Expeditions reserves the right to change or cancel any installation, service and substitute for a reasonable alternative of comparable value.
In case of a major change, the customer will be notified as soon as possible. The client will have options regarding accepting the change.
It is the client’s responsibility for obtaining sufficient personal travel insurance. The client is willing to accept full responsibility for insurance up to limits that the client may require. This insurance must cover personal accident, medical expenses, air ambulance, loss of effects, repatriation costs and all other expenses which might arise as a result of loss, damage, injury delay or inconvenience occurring to the client. It is compulsory that all clients have personal travel insurance. When obtaining travel insurance, the client must ensure that the insurer is aware of the type of travel to be undertaken.
We strongly recommend acclimating (above 3000 masl) in Cusco or another high altitude area for a minimum of 1 to 2 days before embarking on your trip. This is to minimize the possible effects of altitude sickness. In addition, you can help your body by drinking plenty of fluids, adding a little more sugar to your drinks, eating carbohydrate-rich foods, avoiding cigarettes and alcohol, and drinking coca tea.
Flights and airlines:
We do not have control over the national and international passages, if it happens that the schedules change or the flights are delayed, we will do everything possible to ensure the good flow of all your transport connections, but it is your responsibility to verify the exact timetables of the flights and reconfirm them, the flights can be reorganized in the short term. Magical Peru Expeditions assumes no responsibility for the consequences of flights lost due to the customer’s lack of reconfirmation.
Flying to Latin America involves long flights and may require changes at other airports. It is your responsibility to arrive at the airport of departure at the appropriate time (2 to 3 hours for international flights and 2 to 1 hour for internal flights in Peru)
Any improvised or situations that occur before starting the tours will be the sole responsibility of the passenger.
Train tickets are not refundable. These will be generally reserved in advance, subject to availability. For passengers traveling independently, requests for alternative schedules will be considered, but are strictly subject to availability. Passengers traveling with a group cannot request alternative schedules. Once issued, train tickets are valid for the dates and times specified. Some exchanges must be made locally at the station due to the rate restrictions. Changes may be subject to local charges, fees and rate increases.
We do not control seat assignments that are entirely at the discretion of the railroad companies. Once the railroad tickets are issued they are totally non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
Claims and Complaints
If a client has a complaint against the company, the client must first inform the trek guide or company representative while on the tour in order that the guide/representative can attempt to rectify the matter. Any further complaint must be put in writing to the company within 7 days of the end of the tour.
