CUSCO, SACRED VALLEY, MACHU PICCHU AND SOUTH VALLEY 5 DAYS ITINERARY

Arrival in Cusco – City Tour Cusco

To start with your choice of packages to Machu Picchu 5 days we will begin with the transfer from the airport to the chosen hotel, along our transfer we will see Inca constructions, such as the Monument of Pachacutec, you will know the history of the city of Cusco, also known as the Capital of the Empire of Tahuantinsuyo, arriving at your selected hotel.

At the hotel, we will provide a comprehensive explanation of everything related to this Machu Picchu Tour Package. In the morning, you will have free time to acclimatize. In the afternoon, we will take a City Tour, which includes visits to Qoricancha (the Temple of the Sun), the Convent of Santo Domingo, the Cathedral, and the main square of Cusco. We will see the archaeological parks around the city of Cusco, which include Sacsayhuaman, Q’enqo, Pukapukara, and Tambomachay. We will then return to the hotel and spend the night in Cusco, concluding our 5-day Machu Picchu tour program from Cusco.

Day 02: Tour to the Sacred Valley of the Incas

Continuing to program all-inclusive tourist packages to Machu Picchu. In the morning, the pickup is at 8.00 am. We will visit Pisaq, where we can appreciate the archaeological complex, as well as the typical handicraft market. We will then continue our journey along the banks of the Vilcanota River until we reach Urubamba. On our 5-day Machu Picchu tour, we will have an exquisite lunch buffet.

Then we will visit Ollantaytambo, one of the last remaining Inca villages, and its streets retain the exact layout of Inca times. visit the fantastic archaeological complex located there. We will travel to the train station in Ollantaytambo for your trip to Machu Picchu. We will board the train to the town of Aguas Calientes. Upon arrival, you will receive a reception and be transferred to the hotel. Overnight in Aguas Calientes.

Day 03: Machu Picchu Tour – Return to Cusco

At dawn, we will begin our journey to Machu Picchu. After breakfast, we will go to the station to board the bus. The tour will take approximately thirty minutes until we arrive at the Machu Picchu Citadel. We will then embark on a three-hour tour of Machu Picchu’s must-see sites. After the tour, you will have the opportunity to explore Machu Picchu independently. Climbing Machu Picchu or Huayna Picchu mountain is an option, but costs an additional USD 70 per person.

When the time is right, we will descend from Machu Picchu to Aguas Calientes. In this town, there are several restaurants where you can have lunch and savor the local cuisine.

Later that day, we will return to Cusco by train (be sure to arrive at the station 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time). Once you arrive at the Ollantaytambo train station, a representative of our company will be present to accompany you to your destination in Cusco. The trip from Ollantaytambo to Cusco by car takes approximately one hour and thirty minutes.

DAY 04.- South Valley Cusco

From 9:00 am to 2:30 pm, we will offer a guided tour of the south valley of Cusco. During this visit, we will have the opportunity to explore the area’s impressive tourist attractions. First, we will visit the Temple of Water in Tipon, a sacred site that highlights the importance of water in Inca culture. Next, we will head to Pikillacta, where we can admire the pre-Inca archaeological remains and immerse ourselves in the rich history of the region.

Finally, we will visit the famous Sistine Church of Andahuaylillas, known for its beautiful architecture and magnificent frescoes. After this exciting morning exploring the southern valley, we will return to Cusco, where we will have the afternoon free to enjoy the city.

During this free time, visitors will have the opportunity to visit the museums located in the city center. These museums provide an in-depth exploration of the region’s rich history and culture, featuring exhibits that range from ancient artifacts to contemporary works of art.

In addition, those interested in local traditions may enjoy a visit to the Qosqo Native Art Center. Here, performances of typical Cusco dances are held, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the region’s vibrant cultural tradition.

So we arrive at our last day with this package to Machu Picchu in 2025. We will coordinate your transfer to the airport according to your flight.
