Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Cusco – City Tour
Magical Peru Expeditions will Schedule a private transfer from the airport to your selected hotel in Cusco. Please keep in mind that landing at 3.350 ma. s.l. Can have its toll on the body. Do not feel concerned if upon arrival you experience some shortness of breath or a small headache. This will all go on time. For this reason, it is highly recommended that you take it easy upon arrival and let your body ease into the altitude by staying hydrated.
In the afternoon, you will do the City tour with our expert guide; we will take you to some of the world’s best archeological sites, including the beautiful Cusco cathedral, the sacred temple of the sun or Qoricancha, and the spectacular Sacsayhuama fortress. In the afternoon, you’ll return to your Cusco hotel. Spend the evening at your leisure enjoying the local cuisine, music, and the splendor of Cusco at night

Day 2: Sacred Valley of the Incas
We start this beautiful sacred Valley day tour, exploring the beautiful Peruvian countryside with a full-day tour of one of the magical Sacred Valley, home to several royal estates of Incan emperors., we will pick you up around 08:00 am from your hotel in Cusco and head to the Sacred Valley. We will tour the following great attractions of Peru.
On the road, we will be at the typical handicraft market in Qorao, where you can enjoy the beauty of their works and buy souvenirs, and then you will visit the town of archeological place Pisaq;
famous for its bustling indigenous market and for the beautiful Incan ruins on the hillside overlooking the city of the Incas. At noon, we will go to the town of Urubamba, where you will have a buffet lunch; here you can find a variety of Peruvian and international food.
Next, you will see the spectacular fortress of Ollantaytambo, this site remains almost the same way it was in the Inca times, these magnificent Incan ruins were part of the royal estate of the Inca emperor Pachacuteq, after that we will board the train forward to Aguas Calientes town, overnight here.

Day 03: Machu Picchu Tour
This is the day that you have been waiting for, after breakfast at your hotel in Aguas Calientes Town, you will take one of the first busses up to Machu Picchu so that you can be there to witness the sunrise. It is truly an extraordinary site and not something you’ll want to miss. Here also, you will meet your expert, English–speaking guide for a tour of the most important sites in Machu Picchu, including the Intihuatana, the sun temple, and the room of 3 windows, you’ll be able to marvel at the lush mountains that mystically conceal the ruins.
After your tour, those who have booked in advance for the extra hikes up Huayna Picchu or Macchu Picchu Mountain will have time to enjoy those interesting views on their own. Then you will take the bus down to Aguas Calientes for lunch (not included), depending on your train departure time, the train will take you back to Ollantaytambo, following the spectacular Rio Urubamba(Willcamayu) then you will be transferred to your Cusco hotel for the evening.

Day 4. Maray & Moray half day tour
Our staff will visit you at your hotel between 8:00 and 8:30 am, to transfer you to the place where the tour begins; the first place we will visit will be Moray, which is located 38 km from Cusco City. In Moray we will see the greatness of the circular terraces of the Inca agriculture, these terraces were used as an agricultural experimental center, known also as the Incan laboratory these are round platforms placed concentrically.
In Moray, you will see the circular platform the deepest is 80 meters deep, with the lowest platform having a diameter of 36 meters. Temperature variations range between 0.5 to 1.5 degrees Celsius per platform which can reproduce up to 20t types of microclimates, after visiting Moray now we are going to Maras and to the pre-Incas Salt Mines “Salinas” as the name indicates, they are salt mines formed by around 5000 small pops, each one producing approximately 50 to 80 kilos of salt per season, after our adventure we return to Cusco.

Day 5. Rainbow Mountain Trek
Your amazing Rainbow Mountain trek adventure begins with pick up from your hotel at 4 a.m., we set out on or drive for 2 hours though the South Valley. Rainbow Mountain is one of the new natural attractions of Cusco; we will stop at the Cusipata district (3310m.a.s.l.) where we can enjoy a delicious buffet breakfast. After breakfast, we will travel by car for one hour more reaching the control point (llapto 4638m.s.l), where we will start the trek. Along the way, there are amazing views of farming Inca Terraces, traditional villages, valleys, and the attractive Andean peaks, our trek lasts for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Now after Hiking up, we will finally reach our destination the Rainbow Mountain 5020 m.s.l. Our guide will give us a description of the orography, ecosystem, and color of the Mountain. Also, we can have time to take some spectacular photos to remember and to admire the beautiful landscape of the Mountain Chain of Vinicunca, then we will return by the same route to the point where we started the trek (LLacto), where our transport will start the return trip to Cusco City arriving around 5 PM, the last stop will be in San Francisco near to the Mean Square of Cusco.
