Itinerary

Day 01: Arequipa In – City Tour In Arequipa.

To start this Peru vacations packages one of our representatives will come to the airport to transfer to your selected hotel in Arequipa, once we get in the hotel, you will have all the information that you need for this tour package in Peru, this is the time to relax and acclimatize, until around 2.00 pm.

In the afternoon the pick-up time is at 2.00 pm from your hotel, this time will do the Arequipa City Tour. Arequipa is also known as a White City, you can see on this tour, that the buildings are made of a light-colored volcanic rock called Sillar.

With this tour, we can see many important places that have the White City, such as the Cathedral of Arequipa, The Convent Of Santa Catalina, Museums, ( Santuarios Andinos), this City tour is around 6.00 pm.

Day 2 Valle Del Colca or Colca Valley.

Following the itinerary of Peru Vacations Packages, this time we will pick you up very early around 2.50 am, from your Hotel, the drive-in our transportation from Arequipa to Chivay last for around 3 hours, here in Chivay you will have breakfast after that we continue visiting one of the places called Mirador de La Cruz Del Condor (the cross of the Condor).

From this place Cross of the Condor, we are able to see the fly of the condors, and the depth of the Canñon, this sites shows a typical places like Yanqui and Maca, Colonial Churches, and once we visited those place you can try the Colca Sour drink that is delicious made with the local products.

Around 12.30 pm you will have lunch, then we are going back to Arequipa in our way to our destinations we will stop in one of the interesting place called Mirador de Los Volcanes, from here you can observe the Volcanos in Arequipa, also on the way we are able to see one of the places called Bofedales de Toccra, this is a place where you can see alpacas.

Lastly you are heading to Pampa Cañahuas, passing through one of the reserve Zone Salinas y Agua Blanca, this is the habitat of Vicuñas, finally, we are arriving in Arequipa around 5.15 pm, and when you are ready we will transfer to the bus stations to Cusco.

Day 03: Cusco – tours around the City

we will transfer from the bus station to your selected hotel, during the morning it is just to have a rest and relax after in the afternoon we are doing the Cusco City tour.

Around (1:30 pm) we will pick up from the hotel to make the City Tour, in which we will visit from Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun) and Convent of Santo Domingo, the Cathedral and the main square of Cusco, then we will visit the archaeological park that They are close to the city of Cusco which are: Sacsayhuaman, Q’enqo, Pukapukara, and Tambomachay, return to the hotel, Overnight in Cusco.

Day 04: Sacred Valley of the Inkas

After breakfast pick up time, it will be at 8.00 am, In then we are heading to Pisaq where we will appreciate the archaeological complex, as well as visit the Typical Artisan Market, We continue with the journey by the Vilcanota River, until we arrive in Urubamba, where we will have an exquisite Buffet Lunch.

Then we will visit Ollantaytambo, one of the last living Inca towns and its streets maintain the same outline as the Inca times and we will visit the wonderful archaeological complex located there, we will also visit the town of Chinchero, a small Inca and colonial town, we will return to Cusco Overnight

Day 05: Machu Picchu

Today we will pick you up very early around 3.30 am, this time we are going to Ollantaytambo Train station, the transportation last for about 1.40 minutes, then we are going to board to the train that takes 1.45 minutes approximately until Aguas Calientes town, on our way we can see from the window of the train beautiful places, snowcapped mountains, and archeological places.

Once we arrived in Aguas Calientes we are going to take the bus up to Machu Picchu, here at the entrance we will show the tickets, then our tour guide will explain to you for about 2 hours, and then you will have free time.

After exploring, we will take the bus down to Aguas Calientes, where you will have lunch and 30 minutes before the departure of the train we must be at the train station, the train will take us until Ollantaytambo Then we are going to take our bus to Cusco.

Day 06: Cusco and Transfer to The Airport

Breakfast. At the appropriate time, transfer to the station or airport to return to the city of origin.
