Hotel Pick-Up in Cusco

 

This incredible day outside the city begins with pickup from your accommodation around 8:00 am. We will head towards the town of Chinchero, located in the mall area. The journey takes just over an hour and is a beautiful ride through the mountains, providing the most spectacular views. You will discover immense snow-capped mountains, vast fields of corn, and attractive villages.

Upon arrival, we will attend a demonstration of the handwoven textiles made by the local women. They are experts in this art, which has been a tradition for hundreds of years, using entirely natural dyes.

 

Visit to Moray – Inca Agricultural Terraces

Your first stop is Moray, an incredible archaeological site featuring enormous circular terraces once used by the Incas for agricultural experimentation. Learn how each level created a different microclimate to cultivate various crops.

This one ticket will give you access to many other locations in the Sacred Valley, as well as some museums and places of interest in Cusco. Admission to the Salt Mines of Maras is separate of 10 soles
  • Meals: There are no meals served during this tour. You should be back in Cusco in time to enjoy lunch on your own. (most people prefer to eat at a restaurant of their choosing due to budgetary and culinary preferences.)

The only ticket that permits you to access the most major tourist attractions in and around Cusco is the Cusco Boleto Turistico. With this ticket, you may see Inca Ruins, museums, and traditional Peruvian dances every day at 7:00 p.m.  The tourist ticket does not need to be reserved in advance; simply purchase it at the first venue you visit. Only cash is accepted. There are two kinds of tickets.

 

1. THE GENERAL TOURIST TICKET TO CUSCO

The BTG is also known as the Cusco Tourist Ticket. (In Spanish, it is known as the Boleto Turistico Integral Cusco). This comprehensive tourist ticket to Cusco allows you to visit all 16 tourist attractions in the Cusco region: If you wish to tour sites in both Cusco and the Sacred Valley, the complete “General Boleto Turistico” is your best option.

 

  • 130.00 Soles is the price.
  • 70.00 soles for students

10 days validity

 

2. A PARTIAL TOURIST TICKET TO CUSCO

The partial Cusco tourist ticket only lasts one or two days. It permits you to explore select Inca archeological ruins, which are organized into tourist circuits. Students and children are not eligible for this partial Cusco tourist ticket. If you merely intend to see Maras Moray, But not the Cusco City Tour; the best alternative is the half-one.
