Recommendations

recommendations

Arequipa has a pleasant climate throughout the year, with 300 days of sun, along with temperatures that do not rise of 25 ° C and rarely drop below 10 ° C. In general terms, in relation to rainfall and humidity, it is usually considered that there are two seasons: Wet and dry.

Summer, from December to March, is known as the wet season, with more clouds, some rains, higher humidity and minimum average temperatures of 10 ºC and maximum averages of 20 ºC.

Winter, between April and November, is known as the dry season, with very low humidity, no precipitation, and temperatures that, although they are practically the same as summer, can feel a bit colder due to the dryness of the air.

In conclusion, although it can always be a good time to travel to Arequipa, it is usually considered that better months to visit the city, correspond to those of the dry season, avoiding rainfall and higher humidity.
